Each year, the Butner Community Association hosts Beautify Butner Day, an event to pick up roadside trash along the streets in and around Butner. The event occurs in conjunction with Earth Day to stress the importance of taking care of our planet by putting trash in its proper place.

Community volunteers are vital to the success of the event, and we welcome everyone to pitch in and help clean up our town. Individuals, churches, schools, non-profit groups and local business are asked to spread the word and come out to support our efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for students to earn hours for community service, a great way to meet your neighbors and a way for you to help your community.
